“Il Commissario Giraldi” is the name of an italian police-chief starring a cult cop-movie-series ranging from the mid-seventies to the early-eightes. It was a great time for italian cinema: action, violence, foxy girls, humor and stunts. Lots of stunts. A treasure gone lost in time. From the early ’80 italian cinema is dead: there are some good biopics and social-focused movies, but we lost science-fiction, horror, erotic and cop-movies along with a dozen of sub-genres.
