And we go on listening to his story… I decided to split the “Zanarkand Ruins” chapter in two photo-sets. The first one ending with the Boss-Fight Vs Spectral Keeper, which was very hard to portray without the HUD. The second one will be focused on sexy-hot Lady-Gaga-esque Yunalesca. These screenshots were taken via Pcsx2 emulation (Ps2 textures rendering x4, Hardware AAx3, 1080 vertical px) in 4:3 ratio (as the original game), but there are a few shots (mainly in-battle pics) I decided to cut in 16:9 ratio for a more cinematic effect (variable sizes).
Until few days ago, I thought my best #Borderlands #Boss to date was Baron Flynt. The beautiful face, in the first place, made those screenshots unique not because of my camera work, but because of its amazing chara-design and I thought it was impossible to have that quality again. But then came Skagzilla. At first it was quite an ordinary photo-set, nothing impressive under a camera POV. But, at a certain point, Skagzilla escaped his arena because of my custom gravity settings, and the whole portfolio changed its face. Out of its stockyard, Skagzilla goes stupid, the AI fails, and it is one hell of a statue available for any kind of screenshot. The perfect model for its photographer. A portfolio that was intended to be of five screenshots became a ten-screenshots-ode to the Skagzilla design. So beautiful in its carved skull and spiked back. So sexy! Enjoy this collection.
My last screenshot focused on Ravenholm creepy environments and architectures. Click here for the 1080p wallpaper. Take a look at the whole collection in the container page.
Enviromental screenshots from Halo 3, Halo chapter. Photos grabbed by in-game photo-mode. I added a coat of extra smooting and antialiasing via software for a better 1080p final outcome.

Here starts my new collection: The GEARS OF WAR Virtual Geographics. There will be space for some action shots too but I have to find some way to enable the free-camera to get that kind of shots (whenever is possible) otherwise I’ll rely on cutscenes for those ones. Oh my, how beautiful is Sanctuary Keeper? This boss who appears in the latter part of the Mount Gagazet chapter is the perfect bitmap-to-polygons translation. It looks gorgeous but it’s also a reminder of the classic FF bitmap design. Maybe it’s because the camerawork mirrors the typical 16bit FF framing don’t you think? In the next chapter we’ll see Zanarkand as depicted in the opening scene of this amazing game. It also means I’m almost done with it and it feels rather sad.
