I dreamt of portraying Half Life 2 since the beginning of Electric Blue Skies. But as I wrote many times, PC gaming is something very hostile to me. Just an example: I downloaded Half Life 2 via Steam as well as Garry’s Mod. Only Half Life 2 allows me to open the console but any command I try does not bring anywhere. I suppose it’s because the commands I found in the net work only with the disc version… or whatever. After a couple of hours I finally managed to grab a decent screenshot starring the hostile Combine cops. It’s not a super-original shot but it’s my very first and stars Garry’s Mod Super DOF, which allowed me to blur the combine in the background. This is just the beginning, and as per many other of my collections I’ll follow the story mode trying to portray all the best landscapes, faces and action present in this wonderful game. Tidus and friends finally arrive to Guadosalam, land of Lord Seymour Guado and the guados (sounds like the name of a music group of the ’70, does it?). The mysterious Yevon man asks Yuna to marry him, to unite their lifes and ignite their strength and charisma versus the powerful Sin. Yuna can’t answer immediatly to the wedding proposal, and goes with the boys to the Farplane, to meet the beloved dead ones and possibly find an answer. Here Wakka and Lulu can see lost-brother Chappu, Tidus has again the proof his father is still alive, while Yuna can see both her parents. After this episode, the group heads to Macalania Forest to meet Seymour again and give him an answer. On this journey, we discover Rikku is afraid of thunders. But who isn’t? I ask you. This photo set is quite strange: lot of cutscenes, very dark environments, I worked on all the battle-pics in gamma and contrast to make them a little bit watchable, that’s why they look brighter and different, while I left the rest untouched in light and mood. No bosses at all appeared so I took this chance to take a lot of portraits. These screenshots were taken via Pcsx2 emulation (Ps2 textures rendering x4, Hardware AAx3, 1080 vertical px) in 4:3 ratio (as the original game), but there are a few shots (mainly in-battle pics) I decided to cut in 16:9 ratio for a more cinematic effect (variable sizes). Another screenshot by my friend JTGC. Take a look at his Flickr Mass Effect collection and remeber to give him the proper credit, if you’ll use his pics on your blog or website. Click here to download the 720p Wallpaper on your desktop.

Another amazing TESV moment by my contributor Marcelus_SK which used these parameters: 2560×1440, MSAA+SSAA, adjusted ENB_mod, console commands, cleaned of artifacts(Zoner photo studio). Click here for the 1080p Wallpaper.
