Wipeout HD Fury Tracks | Talon's Junction

Wipeout HD Fury Tracks | Talon’s Junction

So I’m back to WipeoutHD once again. And I promise, it’s not the last time. Talon’s Junction is one of the prettiest track of Wipeout HD Fury, period. It sports the flashiest colors, a well designed track, it’s funny and a breeze to play. Any screenshot taken on this track is colorful and kicking, the only drawback is that they all look a little bit too similar. That’s why this set is only a 11-pics collection. In the future I might be back on the whole Wipeout collection for a change in template or just to add a few pics. It’s because I really love this game.

The Bevelle Chapter Part #01 | The Wedding and The Aeons' Face-Off

The Bevelle Chapter Part #01 | The Wedding and The Aeons’ Face-Off

April 23, 2012  |  FINAL FANTASY X  |  No Comments

Tidus and friends arrive in Bevelle just in time to stop the wedding between Yuna and Seymour. Yuna wanted to ‘send’ Seymour during the cerimony and runs away riding Valefor, reaching the temple and getting her new aeon Bahamut in the process. Yuna’s path and her friends’ split for a brief moment: while Yuna fights the summoner Isaaru and his aeons, Tidus & Co. are going to face the boss Evrae Altana, a zombiefied version of Evrae. I decided to split the Bevelle chapter in two parts because there was too much good stuff to propose you, and despite this you’ll find 40+ screenshots of my usual quality and editing in this photo-set. The next will be fully focused on the fight versus Seymour Natus and Mortibody. These screenshots were taken via Pcsx2 emulation (Ps2 textures rendering x4, Hardware AAx3, 1080 vertical px) in 4:3 ratio (as the original game), but there are a few shots (mainly in-battle pics) I decided to cut in 16:9 ratio for a more cinematic effect (variable sizes).

Halo 3 Chronicles | Halo

Halo 3 Chronicles | Halo

April 19, 2012  |  HALO 3  |  No Comments

So, it seems it’s almost over here. My Halo 3 complete collection is coming to a conclusion, as the fight it flags. In the next few weeks a Halo 3 Postcards post will follow, then a final single wallpaper. No Covenant Files this time around ’cause the floods can look really uninspired, so the few good flood-pics I was able to capture are all in this Chronicles post. After all this, I’m going to take the ODST installment, fully portray the still missing chapters and then the whole Haloverse section of this blog is going to freeze until the fourth installment’s come. Some people will be happy for this. Many claimed Halo was too present in my blog, too invasive, too much. But it’s one of the few console games with an almost-perfect photo-mode and one of the few that really gave me a lot of pleasure and satisfaction, so I think I’m really going to miss it despite the haters.

One of the most inspired landscapes in the Water Hazard chapter. The blurred foreground is due to Garry’s Mod Super Depth of Field. Click here for the 1080p wallpaper or take a look at the whole collection in the container page.

The Airship Chapter | Meet Cid and Fight Evrae

The Airship Chapter | Meet Cid and Fight Evrae

April 16, 2012  |  FINAL FANTASY X  |  6 Comments

Let’s summarize a little bit: Yuna was kidnapped by the al-bhed because they want to save her life (!). She was brought to the al-bhed secret base called “Home” on Bikanel Island, but there she was one again kidnapped by the guados because she has to marry Lord Seymour to save Spira. So, we are talking about TWO kidnappings in one chapter. Even Princess Peach can’t beat this record! So Cid and Brother start the old machina “Airship” up, and leave Home in search of the lost young summoner. They eventually discover that Yuna has been brought to the beautiful city of Bevelle, home of the Yevon cult, and head that way. But Bevelle is protected by a huge Boss: Evrae, the purple dragon with the kabuki-face. Will our heroes be able to defeat the powerful flying Boss? The answer lies in the next chapter.

This shot resumes one of the best moments of the Route Kanal chapter. The way Dr. Freeman flanks the combine turret is one of the most entertaining moment of the first half of the game. Click here for the 1080p wallpaper or take a look at the whole collection in the container page.
