I love Quadratus, the second Colossus from epic Team Ico game, because it’s a perfect model for a photographer. Some Colossi, like Gaius or Phaedra, are so tall it’s hard to take a full picture of their body, and if I want to have also Wander and Agro in the picture it’s even harder. On the contrary, Quadratus, with its taurine shape looks like the perfect mannequin. This set has been created via PCSX2 Emulator running at 1920×1080, Ps2 textures rendering x4, Hardware Antialiasing x1, OFFSET HACK enabled to remove some shading issues, ELIOTCOUGAR’S HACK enabled to remove the disturbing Team Ico’s signature-bloom. Last update: December 2011.

How the hell do all these screenshots you did not have any comments!! D: I just wanted to say how epically amazed I am of the clarity and high-def detail you captured on these screens! I also love the dynamic range of poses you got, which shows off the tremendous scale of each colossi beautifully. I chose to comment in Quadratus’ section b/c that second to last image you have (the one showing the frontal view of him) is absolutely stunning. I don’t think I’ve seen such a dramatic straight shot of one of the colossi (well at least not his) as they’re all in controposto. He’s standing in somewhat of a symmetrical stance which I find really intriguing. Great job on ALL of these, as you did a tremendous job!! :3

Dear Olivia, thanks for the ‘felt’ comment.
I really appreciated it. This portfolio took a lot of my time and energy, but I’m really satisfied with the final outcome.
In the absence of a proper photo-mode, I had to work a lot with the camera /while/ playing, and it has been a real labour of love and patience to get these screenshots.
Thanks again!
Emanuele
