Sin has teleported our friends from the Macalania Temple location to an unknown place. All the guardians are lost at sands but they slowly recover and Rikku eventually reveals they are walking the Sanubia Desert sands. And they are near a place called “Home”. A place, we discover, where the Al-Bheds keep the summoners prisoner because they know that a summoner, after defeating Sin, would die in the process. Tidus is upset by this revelation… and me too. I mean: is the defeat of Sin the major plan or not? Of course someone should die, we are still missing our Aeris-moment this time around! The weirdo al-bheds are pissing me off you know… This is a photo set full of combat pics and I’m happy for that. It’s easy to grab a cutscene-screenshot, but to grab an interesting moment during battles ain’t that easy. The first BIG MONSTERS are coming out: the Zu (or Zuu) and the Sand Worm really are two fantastic specimen from the FFX Bestiarium. These screenshots were taken via Pcsx2 emulation (Ps2 textures rendering x4, Hardware AAx3, 1080 vertical px) in 4:3 ratio (as the original game), but there are a few shots (mainly in-battle pics) I decided to cut in 16:9 ratio for a more cinematic effect (variable sizes).
