Long before Radiant Silvergun, a spaceship used a plasma sword to defeat the occasional evil Empire. Thunderforce IV, with its infinite layers of parallattic water in the Strite stage raised the bar for gameplay, and surely defined the concept of Art in modern videogaming with the clouds in Strite, the spaceship armada in Air-Raid, the sandstorm in Daser to name a few iconic souvenirs. One of the purposes of this website is to honour some games of the past which gave sense to the word “Art” in gaming. This is one of those moments.
